About
Cherry Topper is a BL yandere thriller set in a 1950’s ice-cream parlour.
For Danny, an overworked employee at Johnson's Ice-Creamery, life in the old town of Glazebury is a slow grind. Between endless overtime, worsening insomnia, and the responsibility of looking after his little sister, every day offers a struggle.
Enter Arthur.
Awkward, earnest, and hopelessly smitten!
Glazebury's newest resident seems harmless enough. Yet, beneath his dorky charm lies a dark secret that followed him from the home he left behind.
Affection curdles into infatuation. Buried truths begin to surface. In a town, where everyone knows everyone...nothing can stay hidden forever.
Take the role of Danny. Experience a narrative-driven story where your choices influence character interactions and scenes. Unlock CGs throughout the story, earn cash in a daily ice-cream serving minigame, and spend your earnings on choices.
Warnings
The game will contain flashing lights, loud noises, and jump-scares that may be unsuitable for photosensitive players or those with certain medical conditions.
The story will feature depictions of abuse, violence, death/grief & drug use. Player discretion is advised.
Author's Note
This is a short demo!
My goal is to develop this project into a full game this year. To support development, I'll be exploring crowdfunding and merchandise. Day 2 will be released as a future update to the demo.

The Demo Includes:
- 3,000+ words of narrative content.
- Day 1 of the story.
- 2 playable minigames.
Project Scope: The final game features five playable days. Each day includes unique CGs and in-game choices that can be unlocked using your shift earnings.
Stretch Goals: If the crowdfunding is successful, stretch goals will be implemented to expand the game’s quality and scale.

I really enjoyed this demo. I really like the yandere aspect and I like how it sprinkles some sympathy for Arthur! Usually Yandere VNs only make it via the perspective of the main character, so it's a nice change to see Arthur's perspective!
Ice cream gameplay was also really cool, very simple, short and fun! If the direction in the full game is to make it at least 1 gameplay of the ice cream serving per day, I am SO down!
I also really liked the tension. The whole fear factor with the little sister was too real. Art style was super cute too! I really liked the unnatural big eyes lol
Overall, this game has really fun potential. Dev, please don't be discouraged if it's doesn't reach the goal. I hope you can still make the game even after! But of course, I am a firm believer in its success. There's really nothing awful to say about the game. I really enjoyed the premise!

I'm glad you enjoyed the style, how Arthur was presented and the ice-cream mini-game. The minigame is definitely staying as a daily feature so players can save up for in-game choices!
Even if we don't reach the funding goal, I'll definitely be looking at an improved relaunch and potentially updating the demo with day 2 to show more story! Regardless how it goes, I really appreciate the support and encouragement! xx

Danny is such a cutie, and i can not WAIT for the next day!!! the art is amazing, the gameplay is fun, (i like how they bounce and tilt) and Authur.... i have a sneaking suspicion he did something to his parents and they are no longer with us...and that Authur might mess with the pills/they will come back later.....EEE!!!! this is so good!!!!!!!!!! everyone working on this project should be proud for creating such a cool game!!!!! >.<
